Available Options

The SC40 Dry Running Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump is a high-capacity industrial vacuum generator designed for continuous duty operation. It is ideal for large CNC vacuum tables, vacuum clamping fixtures and demanding industrial vacuum applications.

As a dry running, oil-free vacuum pump, the SC40 provides clean operation with minimal maintenance requirements. This makes it an excellent choice for CNC machining environments where reliability and simplicity are essential.

With significantly increased airflow compared with smaller models, the SC40 is particularly suitable for large vacuum tables, systems with multiple vacuum zones or applications with higher leakage. It is commonly used as a dependable alternative to the Becker VT4.40.

Installation Advice

  • Install the pump above the vacuum table where possible
  • Use a vacuum filter to protect the pump
  • Keep vacuum hoses as short as possible
  • Ensure all vacuum fittings are properly sealed
  • Use a vacuum gauge to monitor vacuum levels

Why Choose the SC40?

Looking for a Refurbished Vacuum Pump?

In addition to new units, we can often supply refurbished SC16, SC25 and SC40 vacuum pumps. These can be an excellent option for customers looking for a more economical solution without compromising on performance.

Our refurbished stock changes regularly as pumps come in and out for service and rebuild, so availability cannot always be guaranteed. In most cases, we commonly have 16, 25 and 40 size dry running pumps available or awaiting refurbishment.

Refurbished pump pricing depends on the condition of the unit and the level of work required, so each pump is quoted on an individual basis.

Where a refurbished unit is not already completed, lead time is typically around one week. During busy periods, customer repairs may take priority, although refurbishment can be scheduled against a confirmed order.

Please complete the enquiry form below if you would like to check current stock, pricing or lead time for a refurbished unit.

Vacuum Pump Servicing & Professional Refurbishment

If your vacuum pump is losing performance, running noisily or simply due for maintenance, we offer a complete servicing and refurbishment solution designed to restore your pump to reliable working condition.

Our experienced technicians regularly service and refurbish vacuum pumps used on CNC vacuum tables, industrial machinery and vacuum handling systems. We work with many major brands including Becker, Busch and other rotary vane pumps.

During refurbishment, pumps are carefully inspected and worn components such as vanes, filters, seals, bearings and internal parts are replaced where required. The pump is then cleaned, rebuilt and tested to ensure it performs reliably — often returning the unit to near new operating condition.

Refurbishing a pump can be a very cost-effective alternative to buying a new unit, while significantly extending the life of your existing equipment.

Once we receive your pump or details of the unit, we will assess its condition and provide a clear quotation together with an estimated turnaround time before any work begins.

If you would like a quotation for servicing or refurbishing your vacuum pump, please complete the enquiry form below and our team will be happy to assist.
